"Falling back" into the swing of things!

Its been awhile. Things happen, circumstances change, we grow, and add/subtract things to and from our lives. I have been M.I.A from this blog for awhile. It wasn't intentional but so much has happened with my life. I am back working, schooling, being mom, etc, etc. I finally have a little time to pop my head in from time to time to post and see how other bloggers are. I HAVE MISSED YOU GUYS AND GALS!! I'm back for awhile though. :)

Chrisette LIVE!!

So I went to the Chrisette Michele concert March 5, 2010. It was EVERYTHING I expected and more!!! I really enjoyed myself because she puts on a helluva show. The artists and the bands were really on top of their game. The stage presence was awesome.
This is why I chose Chrisette Michele for music Monday.
Chrisette is an awesome artist at the young age of 26. She puts emotion and shows she means exactly what she's singing. The "Epiphany" album is about break ups and becoming one with a new love. She caters to an audience of all ages and really knows how to reach out to her fans.
If she is ever in your area, the money will be well spent because true talent is really shown. She draws you in to where you feel the words of the song. She really has you contemplating relationships and what true love should be about. Be sure to check out Chrisette Michele if you haven't already. She is truly a treat to enjoy!!!

Showdown Sunday!

Well the Super Bowl has come and gone and the season has officially ended. That lil bar and grill is no longer packed with others getting wings, shrimp, oysters and other finger foods. Those faithful football fans have put away the seat cushions, face paint, fingers, and jerseys til fall.
With that being said, what are we to do with our Sundays now? We will catch up on drafts, all star programs, etc, but we won't have that same game excitement as before. Maybe date nights and family time will happen more often. Who knows what these days may bring?
We just have to wait til pre-season comes again and back to our "comfort zones" we go. What do you have in mind?
